The Boldforge Research Team has released a new study examining the role of artificial intelligence ethics in Polish classrooms. The report analyzes current practices and challenges faced by educators integrating AI tools while maintaining ethical standards.
Research Approach
Researchers surveyed over 1,200 teachers and administrators across primary and secondary schools in Poland. The study reviewed curriculum guidelines, teacher training programs, and student data privacy protocols. Data collection occurred between September 2023 and March 2024, focusing on urban and rural regions to ensure balanced representation. Key areas included algorithmic bias detection, consent mechanisms for student data, and transparency in AI-driven assessment tools.
Findings indicate that only 34 percent of schools have formal AI ethics policies. Many educators expressed concerns about insufficient training on ethical AI use. The report highlights successful pilot programs in Warsaw and Krakow where schools implemented bias audits and parental notification systems.
Key Findings and Recommendations
The study concludes that ethical AI integration improves student trust and reduces misuse risks. Recommendations include mandatory ethics modules in teacher certification and national guidelines for AI procurement. Authors emphasize collaboration between policymakers, technologists, and schools to develop age-appropriate resources. The report calls for annual ethics reviews and public dashboards tracking AI tool compliance. Boldforge plans to host regional workshops to disseminate results and support implementation efforts nationwide.
